When we fear the Lord we are simply obeying the Lord’s commands, and living a life that honors God.
We seek His will in all we do, and obey His direction. We listen to what God has to say even if that means going against what the world says is right.
A life as Jesus as our ruler is a life of purpose and meaning.
When we learn to walk in the will of God we will learn to see the blessings God has given us and be more grateful. Fearing the Lord brings protection, contentment, and confidence.
This scripture reading plan is set up where you will study one snippet of scripture per week.
There will be seven different activities you will complete in order to help you memorize the scripture and get into the word, one activity per day of the week. At the end of the beginning of the next week we will move onto another scripture. At the end of each week there will also be 3 suggested discussion questions designed to promote use of the “My Scripture Journal” in a group Bible Study setting.

A Wonderful Introduction to Scripture
I like the setup of the book immensely; it is straightforward. The daily exercises are simple; they reminded me of the memorization methods I used for school work. The verses themselves are easy to learn; my five year old could read most of them by himself.
